Overview
Nakara is a pixel-art first-person slasher platformer for players who like fast, punishing adult action over long dialogue. It has a rough, arcade-like tone built around risk and consequence.
Gameplay
You move through platforming stages in first person, fighting monster girls with slasher-style combat while working toward each mission goal. Getting caught or losing a fight leads to a rape scene instead of a game-over screen, so positioning and timing matter as much as damage output. The loop stays simple: explore, fight, avoid capture, push forward.
Features
- First-person pixel art presentation, unusual for a platformer/slasher hybrid
- Animated scenes tied directly to combat failure states rather than separate menus
Installation
1. Extract and run.
Changelog
v1.1
- New Labyrinth: The Sunken City
- Deep in the ocean, there are cities that once thrived but are now submerged.
- Nakala has transformed the place into a new labyrinth, using crumbling buildings, temples and intricately interlocking waterways.
- When you're captivated by beautiful corals and fish, you might even forget where you came from.
- You must proceed cautiously, following the traces of the sunken city, and search for the magic rings scattered in the deep sea.
Underwater exploration and oxygen:
- A sunken city in an underwater labyrinth that you can explore while swimming freely.
- Oxygen is continuously consumed in water, and the faster you swim, the more oxygen you use. Deficient oxygen can be restored by air bubbles emanating from various reefs.
- Once all the oxygen is gone, the curse will gradually begin to accumulate, so you need to move around while checking for surrounding air bubbles and the remaining oxygen.
- Additionally, the burden of underwater exploration can be reduced by utilizing specific magic and equipment.
- New Demon: Sharkin
- Sharkins are shark demons that roam sunken cities searching for prey.
- New Demon: Okros
- Okros was once a demon with a ferocious personality, but after feminization, he transformed into a cowardly and pure-hearted person.
Sexual desire system:
- When you are subjected to a particular attack, your libido gauge increases, and each time the gauge fills up, your libido stage increases.
- In the third stage, Ernesto has difficulty controlling his impulses, and if he is subjected to a special attack related to his sexual desire, the game will immediately end. Additionally, the damage you take from normal attacks will increase.
Game save function:
- From now on, you will be able to save your game progress in subspace.
- This feature was also added to take into account future content additions.
- Gamepad compatible and vibration function
- From now on, you'll be able to use the gamepad to smoothly navigate gameplay and menus.
UI/Visual:
- Visibility is improved when time is stopped.
- Enemies and rings are highlighted, and the system is improved to function more accurately than before.
- Screen shaking during movement is reduced.
- Additionally, an option will be added to turn screen shaking on and off while moving. The default is on.
- When the compass points to a ring, that ring is highlighted and improved to make it easier to find.
- The effect of making the entire screen brighter when an item is acquired has been limited to only the edges of the screen, improving visibility and reducing strain on the screen.
- The graphics of the glowing ring will be changed in the "Frenzy Night" stage.
- Graphic options will include motion blur, ambient light, and depth of field effects.
Bug fixes:
- This fix the issue where the screen would not dim properly after the game ended.
- This fixes the issue where you cannot take damage even if attacked by a Beholder when you have 1 extra life remaining.
- This fixes an issue where the succubus prisoner scene stops playing while playing Demon Prison.
- Fixed an issue where fullscreen would be removed when the resolution was changed.
- Fixed an issue where the ring light would not go out when the stage was in a daytime state during the "Frenzy Night" stage.
- This fix an issue where some goals in the tutorial were displayed incorrectly in the Japanese environment.
- This fixes an issue where the buffling "Exchanger" effect was only activated once per game.
- Some Japanese typos have been corrected.
