Overview
Hinsdale Days is a dating sim RPG for players who want a slow-burn college harem story with a grounded, everyday tone. It plays like a character-driven school life sim rather than a fast-paced adventure.
Story
As a transfer student at Hinsdale University, the player spends an academic year meeting the school's students and getting drawn into their lives. Some connections are brief, born from a single party or chance encounter, while others unfold across months, from reworking old historical documents to joining a campus play. The game closes with branching outcomes shaped by the choices made along the way.
Gameplay
Players move through campus locations and calendar events, choosing who to spend time with and how far to pursue each relationship. Seven girls carry extended, multi-stage storylines, while a wider cast offers shorter romantic paths, and progress in one thread can open access to campus groups and offices tied to other characters. A New Game+ mode lets players replay the year with carried-over knowledge to reach different endings or pursue paths missed the first time.

Notes

- Added a couple of pop-up tooltips: one that appears on Day 3 (but no later than Day 20) offering a Quick Start guide that's now accessible in the Help page, which gives a quick rundown on kickstarting your romancing paths for the main love interests, plus some cheats. I also added one for noting you can click headshots or scene images to change anime/IRL style once that option is unlocked. Both of these tips are dismissed by just X'ing out of it, never to return again.
- Fixed some issues of the Itch browser version of the game not properly fetching images for PicFeed.
- Fixed a bug where you can now trigger Daisy's new relationship dynamic after the Vermont BNB trip with Madison.
- You can now meet Chloe/Zoe at locations for dates at the coffee shop, Quad, and Lookout instead of going through Sparkr (but you still have to for locations that aren't on the Campus Map/Overworld, such as their dorm rooms).
- Lots of stylistic fixes and uniformity, especially with the exit buttons at the bottom of a passage. Also made the lecture result and work result pages a bit spiffier. Fixed some stylistic bugs in Daisy's erotica hub and rehauled its appearance.
- Replaced some images: one of Madison's IRL PicFeed images (she had AI-induced deformities in her fingers that I didn't notice before), a Daisy PicFeed post in anime style (her eyes were messed up), a Daisy PicFeed post in IRL style (she had four fingers -- oops!).
- Replaced the (Takes Time) notation throughout the game that designates actions that advance time with a simple ⏱ emoji to make it look a bit slicker.
Lots of typos fixed:
- Fixed some Madison sex scenes and an Abby ending scene with small bugs with stray code visible.
